“When in Rome”

You know what they say… “When in Rome, do as the Romans do.” So when it comes to getting married we would need to take note of certain wedding traditions! For example, it has been a custom since the days of the early Roman empire, for a bride to carry an assortment of herbs under her veil to insure fertility and fidelity. In Greece, Ivy was often used as a symbol of enduring love and in Wales the brides would give a sprig of Myrtle to each of the bridesmaids to plant. If it grew, the bridesmaid would be married within the year!

Regardless of which tradition you follow, if any, there are tons of great ways to have fun with your floral. Whether you take a traditional route and pass out sprigs of myrtle, or you’re simply looking for a fabulous bouquet to toss to your favorite single lady, your bouquet provides another opportunity for you to put a style stamp on your event.

Now that Spring has finally arrived, we thought we’d share  some of our favorite Spring time flowers! Eat your heart out!!!
